Brisbane City Purple Hour Sunset, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
This photo was taken on an afternoon that I thought was going to be pretty lacklustre. By sticking it out though and standing in the exact same spot for over an hour I was able to capture this unreal sunset. This was the first time I had ever seen colour like this produced naturally by a sunset and I was so lucky to be there at the right time and in the right place. The photo was taken at the base of Kangaroo Point, a landmark spot in Brisbane that provides some of the greatest views of our wonderful city.
