Fading Beauty is from a project I have been wanting to work on for quite a while. The concept came to me in a moment of sadness and at a time when I was really lacking inspiration. Upon seeing this dying flower in my backyard I immediately identified it as the perfect representation of how I was feeling in that moment. We all have the potential to be brilliant, but I feel like sometimes work, or other life factors weigh us down and cause us to sag much like this sunflower.
